    3. I worked at the 5+10 on the Ocean City boards the summer before I left for college. After work at night,we would go bowling at Somers Point and to eat at the Point Diner. What a life;sleep 'til noon, bask in the sun on the beach all afternoon, go to work at 5 ,then go out on dates. It was a bizillion years ago it seems, another lifetime! :-) Jerilyn

    3. A little later on, us kids would party at Bay Shores, Tony Marts and Anchorage in Somers Point. After they closed at 2 a.m., there were other places to go, if you were inclined, like Dunes 'til Dawn, on Longport Blvd., then to the Point Diner. I used to stay our all night and go right to work at the Diner at 6 a.m. Thomas Henderson wrote: > I worked at the 5+10 on the Ocean City boards the summer before I left > for college. After work at night,we would go bowling at Somers Point and > to eat at the Point Diner. > What a life;sleep 'til noon, bask in the sun on the beach all afternoon, > go to work at 5 ,then go out on dates. > It was a bizillion years ago it seems, another lifetime! > :-) > Jerilyn > > > ============================== > Census images 1901, 1891, 1881 and 1871, plus so much more. > Ancestry.com's United Kingdom & Ireland Collection.
