Jerilyn - I remember praying for Philip when he had his accident but I don't remember hearing that he died - I am so sorry - I will pray for Dave who is going to Iraq - I only hope my step grandson doesn't go - he is in the regular army as a Lieutentant (sp?) and he is suppose to get out in October but who knows if they will release him ---Marie G
Marie, I am glad that your shoulder has responded to treatment.Perhaps next year you will be able to go on an extended vacation to Canada.Tom's sister lived for many years in Fredericton,N.B.She is the one who now lives in Port Charlotte,Fl. .,and thankfully was spared harm in the hurricane.Canada has great beauty. I am sorry you did not realize that my sister's son Philip was instantly killed in the accident on June 10th.I was able to fly out for the funeral, and for that I am quite thankful. This has been a very difficult summer for our family, beginning in May with my mother-in-law's passing..After we got home from Philip's funeral,my step-father had to have very serious and unexpected heart surgery. Our whole family is looking forward to a healing Autumn season.Leaves turning, children returning to school, and the birds flying south are all seasonal reminders that we can look forward to better times.Life has all kinds of cycles, and none is forever.
