Here in NC we are waiting for Charlie to hit. Trying to keep in touch with Memories people in its wake. Faye and I live here, so far so good. Heard from Dot's daughter, and they are safe in a motel. Was really worried as they left days ago before the storm hit. Know they are glad they went. Waiting to hear from Ginny east of Orlando and see how they made out. Hope Kittie did not go to Outer banks although the banks suffered during Bonnie. We got massive rains. Just wanted to know all our friends are safe. Norma

Hi all, I'm back from the OBX, minor Charlie damages. Lots of standing water but the weather was wonderful and we had a great time. Some of the damaged homes from Isabelle were still standing but most had been replaced, demolished or repaired. It was nice to see so much beach in Kitty Hawk and Nags Head even though it is very narrow. We stay in Southern Shores right next to Duck where the damage to homes wasn't so bad.
