Hi Jim, We shall be praying for Matt. Please tell him we send our best wishes. He may remember me from when I wrote to him while he was in training.Tom and I thank him for his service on our behalf. My sister's eldest son David is to be deployed to Iraq in early December. It will be difficult to say goodbye to him for us all.His younger brother Philip was killed in June in an auto accident two weeks after his high school graduation. We have missed you on Memories,Jim.It has been a quiet summer on the list. Now that summer is winding down, the activity may pick up. For those of you who have been wondering how my step-father is doing after his heart surgery,he has been coming along very slowly. He is home, but is having trouble keeping up his oxygen level. Do any of you have any special plans for Labor Day?We are going to the Chesapeake with a few of our friends. This weekend I was in Cape May enjoying the waning days of summer. The birds were flocking and preparing to go south, already.A sign of a difficult winter to come,I wonder? Are you "snowbirds"preparing to go soon too?
