Hi Jim, The dates with peanut butter brought back memories. Ours were always rolled in confectioners sugar. Did your mother prepare celery with peanut butter? I took that to a picnic or something down here and the people had never heard of it. The other day they were reminiscing about it and saying that they now prepare it that way. I probably haven't fixed it that way, since that picnic many years ago. I think that our parents probably fixed things that their parents prepared. Dates were more of a delicacy back then.
