    1. [NJ-Memories] Re: NJ Weather
    2. Betty, Found the cool weather in NJ refreshing. We had to take a fast trip up there and pick up some stuff I had left there. Cold and rainy, catch you next time, Mamie. My brother happened to be in a little country cemetery and found our neighbor we grew up with had died. Our family was rather shocked. No one had heard about it. Came back with Taylor Pork Roll. Is Taylor ham a separate thing? Could only find the pork roll. Also, keilbasa, 1/2 bushel of MacIntosh apples and a little less of another type. Fresh cider, too. My husband kept saying where are you going to put all of this stuff? Those apples will go bad, etc. Guess who else has been eating MacIntosh apples. Read in the paper that the Washington State apple growers have finally realized that people want apples that taste good and not something without taste that looks like it came from Snow White. It will take about 15 years to become fully functionable with the new orchards they are planting. NJ orchard owners have always know people want great tasting apples. Pat
