    3. HI Lee, Yep, used it all the time. Eating it? NO Thank God that was not one of my mother's home remedies. I did eat something with sugar on top to conceal the taste but don't know what it was. Want to say kerosene but that doesn't sound right. found a snowball by Tastykake yesterday but it does not taste as good as the originals. Enjoy your birds. 3. Lee and Dot, You are ahead of me in time. I had plasters on my chest before Vicks ect. Hey Dot that kerosene is correct. My grandparents made a concoction of Onion, Sugar,Kerosene, water and it was always on the coal stove and it got thick and we used in for colds. My parents didn't wonder why? It tasted really good. Apparently I didn't die.lol. Norma Lee you are forgetting the . on net and been getting your emails back. Have a safe day Alone Ranger ----- Original Message ----- From: Dorothy Borne <dotbnj@earthlink.net> To: <NJ-MEMORIES-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, November 14, 2002 9:27 AM Subject: Re: [NJ-Memories] COLD KEYS > HI Lee, > Yep, used it all the time.
