I'm new to the list and thought I would introduce myself. My name is Linda Brooke Vible. I'm married with seven children (only two left at home, not counting the two in college) and I have lived in Williamsburg, Virginia for the past 25 years. I was born at Shore Memorial Hospital in Somers Point, NJ and lived in Linwood, NJ for 18 years. Many of my ancestors are from Cape May and Cumberland Counties and I have fond memories of visiting Sea Isle City and Dennisville with my grandfather. I've been bitten by the genealogy bug and have gathered lots of information regarding my family. I hope to learn as much as possible between now and the summer so that I can find the supporting documentation I need when I visit my family next. My mother, sister and one brother still live in Linwood. I have another brother in Galloway Township. I've joined several other RootsWeb mailing lists, so those of you subscribing to other lists pertaining to New Jersey and specific surnames I'm researching may see this message repeated. My apologies for the repetition. I hope to be able to connect to some distant cousins, which I find to be one of the best rewards of researching via the internet. Surnames I'm interested in are CREAMER, BROOKE, HOFFMAN, BATCHELOR, TROUT, CAMP, HAND, COX, STEELMAN, COBB, CORSON. These names are direct ancestors of mine. I can provide more specifics if desired.
