Pat, Do you remember when we bought our steaks at farm butcher shop in Califon, and then later found out they were horse meat. So desperate to find a steak I remember buying from a butcher where the meat laid out on the block all day, and I do remember flies also. Seems we were not to bothered by them in the old days.
