Dear list members: Just a reminder about the NJ-Memories list and why it was created and how to use it. NJ-Memories is primarily intended for users to share memories and reminiscences they have about New Jersey. The list was created to remove this kind of message (memories and reminiscences) from the specific county lists (like NJHudson) so the county lists could focus on genealogy. Thus, NJ-Memories is not primarily a genealogy oriented list. This does not mean you cannot use it for genealogy, but you will probably get better genealogical results-more people monitoring a list just focusing on genealogy-if you use the county oriented lists for genealogy and use NJ-Memories for non-genealogical stuff. The NJ-Memories list has 67 subscribers (some L-list and some D-digest) while the NJHudson list has 327 subscribers split between the two (L & D). Genealogy yields better results at the county level.
