That's one of my favorite places on the East Coast. When I was in high school, my Mariner Girl Scout troop spent a weekend on the Joseph Conrad, standing watches and climbing the rigging and doing all sorts of sailor stuff. I can still tell a ship from a brig from a schooner with the info I learned then. We slept on the Australia, which has now been broken up and is in a shed for showing how a boat is put together. Bill and I were there eleven years ago, and I could show him the bunk I slept in.
