Hi, Had a chow when I was young. It was the nastiest dog that I ever owned. Only dog that we ever had that ended up as an outside dog. We are dog lovers, but that was our last chow. I do realize that sometimes these things have to do with the breeding, etc. We love our boxer and the ones that have passed on. They fit right in with allergies and all. We laugh that they choose us and not the other way around. We still laugh about how some of them have chosen us. My second favorite would be springer spaniel. As I have gotten older the shedding keeps me away from them. Pat
