Dear list members, We still dye eggs in our family. The grandchildren are now included in the tradition, and Tom is happy that the kids are around to play with me. When all our kids were grown and gone,I still drug out the egg dying cups[yes,we have "ceremonial cups just for that occasion..he he!] and made Tom dye with me.What can I say?I am a creature of habit. As I said before,I don't like to actually eat the eggs, just dye and play "Uppers".On Easter Saturday everyone in this house knows what is expected of them when I start pulling out the dye, vinegar ,and egg dying mugs. They all groan, and roll their sleeves up while I cover the table with newspapers. How I ever got all of us talking on the Easter traditions in October,I will never know.Sorry........ Now do you all want to hear of the Henderson's "going to the pumpkin patch" traditions?...
