Hi, We went to NJ yesterday to see the ocean and go to a couple of stores we like there. While going we saw a helicopter above rte 195 with strange attachments to his struts that had boxlike things attached to the end of them. They were angled up and the copter seemed to be pacing the traffic. We have never seen this before and wondered if it was a traffic helicopter looking for speeders. When we got to Ocean Grove and were sitting there we saw and heard two fighter jets going from south to north just offshore. Does anyone know if this is a common thing?
