Fred Sayles announced the wrestling from Newark on Channel 13 (when he wasn't being Uncle Fred on "Junior Frolics"). I remember Gorgeous George and his golden bobby pins the cologne spraying around and his "man," Geoffrey; Antonino "Argentina" Rocca; Paddy Young; Lou Pertucci; and a bunch of faces whose names escape me. My parents and I watched those wrestling matches every Friday night -- wouldn't have thought of missing them. We all knew who the "good guys" and the "dirty wrestlers" were.
