How about that for an excuse????? And I thought I'd heard em > all. > Don't feel bad; I do that all the time (remembering to make phone calls at the wrong time). I came within a hair of not calling our daughter on her birthday for the same reason; hers was on a Sunday, and we were in church all morning, and then I had to get back out in midafternoon for choir practice. I remembered just after we'd walked the dog and just before I had to leave for choir (and I wouldn't have been home again until she'd already left for work). As it was, she wasn't home, and I had to leave a message on her machine.
