Norma - Back in the late 50's and early 60's my husband used to fish at a lake in Whiting,NJ - to keep the kids occupied we picked blueberries one day - that was a discovery and learning experience for me - didn't know too much about blueberries at that time - I rarely eat them but the other week my son made a 4th of July cake and had blue berries on it - Red strawberries and White cream frosting - it was a pineapple pound cake - I forgot to ask him if it was for the 50 th state in the Union -LOL --------Marie G
