    1. It's Over Finally!

    3. Hello Group, Your many prayers have been answered. I had the conversion yesterday and it has been a success so far. I am now breathing normal again. Of course there is a chance of the procedure not holding and then I would probably have it again. It was kind of interesting to hear some of the facts. Like the procedure is 99.9% effective. It only takes about 2 minutes to due the procedure but all the prep time and post monitoring is what takes up the time. I also found out that they can do the shocking from my pacemaker. But in my case the battery was too low so they shocked with an external power source. But here comes some good news that is unbelievable. I know that you've all heard of putting the phone next to your pacemaker and the doctor at the other end can make the necessary adjustments. Well when I get my new pacemaker I'll be going wireless. The pacemaker will have a small internal antenna and will transmit the information to either my telephone which goes to the doctor. This way I don't have to do anything. It's all done while I'm asleep. But the latest system, and I don't know the particulars, is that the info is sent over the internet. Either way I won't have to go to Philly to have it checked. Modern medicine is wonderful. But what is even more wonderful is that the Good Lord must have heard your prayers and watched over me. For that, I am ever grateful. And I must apologize for not getting back to the group yesterday afternoon as promised, but I was totally wrung out from no sleep the night before. Thanks for your prayers once again. --- avast!
