He was really nice, too. We occasionally would see movie stars in our ER in California, when they were filming in our area, but I never got to take care of any of them. There was one whom I do remember; I just can't remember his name, since I hardly ever watch TV. It was a fairly popular detective serial back in the 1980s, and the lead character's first name was Matt, and I don't remember either his last name (could it have been Houston?) or the name of the star who played him. He was very good looking, though -- slender with light brown hair and a mustache. Anyhow, the nurses who did get to take care of him said that he was very pleasant, and an elderly patient who was on the same floor as he when he was admitted told me later on that he came and visited with her in her room. I wish I could remember his name . . . can somebody refresh my memory? He had rugged good looks and I enjoyed the show. I always remember his name because an old friends maiden name was Horsley and she has a brother Lee. One of our daughters is in Monument visiting her in-laws. Her father in law is a surgeon and retired as of yesterday from the army at Fort Carson. He was suppossed to get out last year but he was some big wigs personal physician so they wouldn't let him go after 9/11. For the past year he has bee juggling his Army duties with that of chief of surgery at Rose Medical Center. Our daughter called to wish us a Happy New Year and said it is really snowing there. They are off skiing tomorrow! Judy
