Far too soon Max's is closed for the winter. If you've not been to Long Branch is the past 2 or 3 years, you just might not recognize the northern part of Ocean Avenue - condos and townhouses by the hundreds. The new pier is a bit of a disappointment, at least to me, as it sits over the beach but not the ocean.
