Hi, Halloween was always one of my favorite holidays, also. We started two or three nights before Halloween. Remember doorbell night, the night we threw dried corn on porches or used our tic-tacs on the windows, soaped windows, etc. The trickery was more fun than the treats. We never did any of the destructive things. Wouldn't have been able to sit for a month. LOL In our old house we got fewer and fewer children over the years. Now in the country we get none. My grandaughter has our house decorated. We have a huge spider web stretched across a triple window in the kitchen. LOL The giant pumpkin is outside. They sent home a notice from school that on the 29th they will have car trick or treating. You can decorate your car and bring candy and line up along the street by the school. Then the children trick or treat to each and every car. That is different. Pat
That is a great idea and safe too. Lots of children don't get out to trick or treat so something for them. ----- Original Message ----- From: <Tacy413408@aol.com> To: <NJ-MEMORIES-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, October 13, 2005 9:34 PM Subject: Re: [NJ-Memories] Trick or Treat > Hi, > > Halloween was always one of my favorite holidays, also.
