I've managed to avoid hurting myself since the fall off my bike back in October, when I bruised my knee to the point where I had a 5 x 4 x 1-inch swelling on it. But I had to play hookey from work today; I've had the worst sore throat I can ever remember having since late last week. I'm living on smoothies, soup, Cream of Wheat, ice cream and applesauce. Today I've been sleeping most of the time when I wasn't eating or reading "The Hobbit" again.
