Ellen, I will glad to let you borrow another ice pick so you can plant things now. I didn't realize that Pointsettias would grow outside here, but my dau's friend's parents had to hack out the bushes along their fence to clear it. The father just planted them spaced out along his walkway and front flower beds and then had a massive stroke about four days later and died. The front of his house looked beautiful for the holidays. Begonias and gardenias, also, grow well outside down here. We used to have camellias under our bedroom windows. They were plants that I always thought of as indoor plants. I guess our fren up or down the hollar will let us know. LOL Pat
