    2. Oh dear, Judy-----I hope the Neurologist does not find anything bad in that ladder injury -Several years ago I was on a Library ladder ( working at the Library I retired from) - there were metal bars on the floor because we had compact shelving -the ladder moved on the bar and I lost my balance and toppled down - some land on their butt - not me - I landed on my head - no one was around then a fellow worker came - he called for help after finding I was conscious - I was taken to hospital - 5 times I was xrayed - every hour -----I had to wear a child's neck brace and I hate to see the size of an adult's brace - that gave me more pain to wear than the sprained neck I had - no injury to the head but I had a very bad headache - Marie G

    3. Just back from the neurologist! I have post concussion syndrome. So it could be a while till all the symptoms are gone. Thanks for your kind thoughts. Fortunately, I was just stepping on to the second rung when the hinge collapsed (it wasn't locked) and the top of the ladder fell and hit me taking me to the ground and rendering me unconscience for a couple of seconds only. Now I can look forward to a happy Christmas.
