Kittie, The cicadas were so noisy here last month that it was unbelievable. At least, that is what I believe it was. I have really been worried about this Sudden Oak Disease. We bought azaleas from a nursery and I don't know what their origin was. We bought this property, because we loved the big oaks on it. Sincerely pray that you don't have that attacking your rhododendrums. Pat
