    3. Hi Robin, Yes, this place is beautiful. We like the one across from it the "Brookgreen Gardens" and try to go often as the flowers & Trees change with the seasons. The place has 9,000 acres, woodlands, tidal swamps, at one time Rice Fields. You can take a boat trip in them to see all the birds. 30 acres of the place is little areas with major sculptures in them. So many are by the Lady that owned the area Anna Huntington, who in 1930 started building the grounds. I don't know how she had time to make them all, some are gigantic. Wildlife all over running free. Thats where the barking squirrels are, Carl talked about them. They have a Raptor aviary under mesh that hold them as most are unreleasable. It is so beautiful and depending on the time of day even the sculptures change color. A new addition is the Southern Living House featured on TV awhile back. Something for everybody. I should go down now its fall and the changes will be so pretty. We usually go in the spring and summer. 3. Hi, Can I jump in. I have always wanted to go to this park when we visit Myrtle Beach. I heard it was beautiful. In Charlotte, NC and the Huntersville, NC area we have a place called "The Raptor Center". It is located actually in a town next to Charlotte-----Huntersville. It is near a old Plantation and it is also in a Park. This park has horseback riding, tours of the plantation, boat rides, fishing. It is on what here call Lake Norman. The Raptor Center is a place where people and police (whoever bring injured birds to be fixed and then released). They also have zoo like place for the the birds they cannot release. My favorite are the owls. We actually have a owl of some over our front step in our big Pine Tree. Our dog has fits in the evening when that owl is their. It is amazing that this owl is never scared of us or the dog. My youngest son wants to be a volunteer. I thought this would be good for him and his home schooling. I have to wait till my husband gets out of the Police Academy in June some time. Everyone have a good weekend. Well, the discontinued making it and I have searched for it ever since, hoping they will bring it back. Seems they did but they named it Dark Milky Way. Now that is great!!!!!!!!
