Showstorms were always a fun event with everyone out enjoying each others company as they worked together blowing and shoveling snow. Here people get out with the snow blower, wave, get their driveway done and that is the last you see of them. I miss that good old NJ friendliness. Judy

    3. Hi everyone, I am borrowing our childrens god-parents computer so I can write everyone. We are doing well. The Lord has really taken care of us during this storm. We have no electric and we are really roughing it. They say it some ways it is worse than HUGO in 1989. We are using a Kerosene heater and a butane latern as well as a oil lamp. We have put all our frozen food in either a cooler to use up first or at our kids god parents house. They have electric. Showers sure feel good. Our neighborhood is very unsafe and their could be a potential for looting so we are going to have to get back by dark. We are living off our Y2K things and food. I helps to be well stocked. It has been fun in a way. Well gotta go. Will write back when our electric gets back on. Our cell number is: 704-777-1516. Please pray. PS: Jerilyn, Are you OK? How much snow did you get. My mom and dad got 7inches. Talk soon Love to everyone, Robin Sign up for Internet Service under $10 dollars a month, at http://isp.BlueLight.com

    3. We had about 5 1/2 inches here in Pocono Summit. My dau in Kenilworth, NJ had 7 inches. I stayed home and made bread pudding. Seemed like a good thing to do on a day like that. Ellen, we were going over 115 tonight to TGIF in Wilkes Barre and passed the runaway truck ramps. I thought of you when I saw the first one with a set of big tires going up it. Guess they do get used sometimes. 3. So nice to keep the old fashioned Christmas's yet. We had real Trees in Jersey, but we had the German Cedar's, and never got away from them till we moved to Va. 20 yrs. ago, then a fake tree. Ugh!!. I always wanted a large tree and one year couldn't go pick it out at the farm, so my Dad, cousin and Frank went for it. I was in the upstairs bedroom when they returned and they flopped it up to the window and said "Is this big enough" lol we did top it. Now I have a small white ceramic Tree that one of my girlscouts gave me 60 yrs. ago (Susan N.J.) and sit it on a TV in the Wicker room and from the road looks like a tall tree. My Norfolk got so big outside this year I tied little red bows on it and thats in the Window. I still have candles in all my windows also. One of the nice things I have is a Crèche made by Frank. It is over a ft. long and 10" high and holds all my old Ceramic Nativity pieces. I put straw in the manager and I have sand on the desert. for the Wise men and Camels. Have a large pan that holds all this. 3. Your boat sounds very nice, I bet at night with the lights on it looks very festive. After you called I went out on the porch, its 18 ft. long. I put greens on the railing and a spray of white and red Pointsettas every 6 ft. Red Bows in front of the 4 posts. Thats it for yesterday I was bushed and my wrist hurt. Today I have 3 windows I swag and bows on them too. Frank does the lamp post. He made me a Red Sleigh about 5 ft. long and I put greens in it and wrapped boxes, made that won't get wet and greens, and maybe the Sled he made. When ? when I get the ambition to tackle that. Glad you got your boots, still watch out the rattlers don't go for the leg. Over the years they had shared all kinds of activities and adventures. Lately, their activities had been limited to meeting a few times a week to play cards. One day they were playing cards when one looked at the other and said, "Now don't get mad at me.....I know we've been friends for a long time......but I just can't think of your name! I've thought and thought, but I can't remember it.. Please tell me what your name is." Her friend glared at her. For at least three minutes she just stared and glared at her. Finally she said, "How soon do you need to know? ++++++++++++++++++++ Two elderly women were eating at a restaurant one morning. Ethel noticed something funny about Mabel's ear and she said, "Mabel, did you know you've got a suppository in your left ear?" Mabel answered, "I have? A suppository?" She pulled it out & stared at it. Then she said, "Ethel, I'm glad you saw this thing. Now I think I know where my hearing aid is." ++++++++++++++++++++ When I went to lunch today, I noticed an old lady sitting on a park bench sobbing her eyes out. I stopped and asked her what was wrong. She said, "I have a 22 year old husband at home. He makes love to me every morning and then gets up and makes me pancakes, sausage, fresh fruit and freshly ground coffee." I said, "Well, then why are you crying?" She said, "He makes me homemade soup for lunch and my favorite brownies. And then makes love to me for half the afternoon." I said, again, "Well, why are you crying?" She said, "For dinner he makes me a gourmet meal with wine and my favorite dessert, and then makes love to me until 2:00 a.m." I said, "Why in the world would you be crying?" She said, bawling her eyes out, "I can't remember where I live!!!" ++++++++++++++++++++ Three sisters ages 92, 94 and 96 live in a house together. One night the 96 year old draws a bath. She puts her foot in and pauses. She yells to the other sisters, "Was I getting in or out of the bath?" The 94 year old yells back, "I don't know. I'll come up and see." She starts up the stairs and pauses. "Was I going up the stairs or down?" The 92 year old is sitting at the kitchen table having tea listening to her sisters. She shakes her head and says, "I sure hope I never get that forgetful." She knocks on wood for good measure. She then yells, "I'll come up and help both of you as soon as I see who's at the door." ____________________ The information transmitted is intended only for the person or **Original MSG size: 4689 Characters Reduced MSG size: 4000 Characters ------------------------------ This mobile message sent using PocketMail.
