I am an architectural historian in New Jersey. For a current project, I am researching the cemetery of the Morris County Children's Home in Parsippany-Troy Hills. I was wondering if anyone knows of any other surviving orphan or almshouse cemeteries in New Jersey. I am also wondering whether children from orphanages were typically buried at separate cemeteries like at the Morris County Children's Home or if they were buried in local public cemeteries.
