Wonderful Richard Williamson. Yes, that too is one of the bain's to our genealogical existence. Not all of us are acquainted with what you so greatly stated about change of names, and how it came about, and or when and if it were discontinued. Found an entry for a family MILLS of NJ that turned out to actually be MAILLES. But apparently pronounced as MILLS< and then was then changed to spell as other MILLS, of that time frame. So my family MILLS, may turn out to be such, if we ever find the paper trail between my father's MILLS line back to New Jersey, and the other 3 MILLS who were the 2005 DNA test group of "V". Again, thank you Richard. cw ************************************** See what's new at http://www.aol.com
