I am seeking the parents of Richard ARCHER who was born c1815 in New Jersey. I suspect that he may have been born in Monmouth County. Richard ARCHER married Henrietta WOOLLEY, the daughter of Eseck WOOLLEY and Ursula WHITE. In the 1860 Census they were living in Ocean Township, Monmouth County. In the 1880 Census for Ocean Township, Monmouth County, Richard ARCHER's wife was Elizabeth E, so Henrietta must have died or perhaps they divorced. Children of Richard ARCHER and Henrietta WOOLLEY: George E. ARCHER, born c1845 in NJ. George E. ARCHER married Mary Elizabeth MORRIS on July 25, 1869, at the Reformed Church of Long Branch, Monmouth County, NJ. She was the daughter of George H. MORRIS and Elizabeth E. __________. Their children were: Lillian G. ARCHER (born c1870), Charles H. ARCHER (born c1872), Elizabeth E. ARCHER (born November 7, 1875), and George E. ARCHER (born c1881). Thomas ARCHER, born c1846 in NJ. Richard ARCHER, born c1849 in NJ. In the 1910 Census, he was residing on a houseboat on the riverfront in Monmouth Beach, Monmouth County, NJ. Ann A. ARCHER, born c1850 in NJ. Henrietta ARCHER, born c1852 in NJ. Samuel ARCHER, born c1855 in NJ. In the 1910 Census, he was a widower residing with his brother, Dick ARCHER, on a houseboat on the riverfront in Monmouth Beach, NJ. Mary E. ARCHER, born c1857 in NJ. John P. ARCHER, born c1859 in NJ. I am descended from George E. ARCHER and Mary Elizabeth MORRIS. Their daughter, Elizabeth E. ARCHER, was my great grandmother.
