You are certainly entitled to your opinion but DNA testing helped me a lot. I have been tracing the DAVENPORT line for nearly 40 years and until I had the testing done I had no idea of which line of DAVENPORTs to research. By finding that I am a descendant of Humphrey DAVENPORT I was able to concentrate on that line eliminating many, many false trails that I had been following. I still have my brick wall but it's not nearly as thick!!!
