I find this DNA converation intersting. I remain curious, how far back does your paper trail go and what have you learned from DNA to enhance your knwledge of ancestors and/or asspcoated luines you were not familiar with. On the DNA testing, my husband is in a DNA project and we have found several exact 12 marker matches - which means they shared a common ancestor somewhere in the past. He has tested to the 37 marker match and has found several that are only 1 or 2 markers distant - which means that there is a common ancestor - we are slowly narrowing down the oldest common ancestor and will hopefully find a good match.
