To determine what is available at LDS for New Jersey open http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/Library/fhlcatalog/supermainframeset.asp?displ ay=localitydetails&subject=346&subject_disp=New+Jersey&columns=*,0,0 Once this is opened, click on view related places. This will show you what LDS has for each county in New Jersey. once you get to that pint click on the county you are interested in and that will show you waht they have for that county. Once you get to the county and type of record you are after click on view film number/s. This will show you what film numbers are available on the specific subject which you can order thru any family history center to hpefully get the data you want. I know for NY a person can order a vital record from LDS as long as they have the certificate number. I only have used LDS for New Jersey for vivarious subject matter so am not that familiar with how to order things for Jersey other than to order films. How do you order death records form LDS or SLC ?
