Sandy, Have you tried a search at the NJ State Archives for the death record for Thomas. That would probably give you the place of interment. They immigrated to Worcester,MA between 1848 and 1852 with son James who was born in Ireland in 1847. Their first daughter Ann was born in Worcester,MA in 1853. They then moved south to NJ. I found them in the 1860 Census for Mt. Holly,Burlington Co. Thomas is listed as a cordwainer which is a shoemaker. John E. was born to them in 1856, Thomas F. was born in 1859 and Mary E. was born in 1864. After the 1870 census Thomas, the father, is no longer listed on any census. After about 1880 the family began moving between Camden,NJ and Philadelphia where I have found them in various directories and censuses. Because Thomas,Sr. seems to have died between 1870 and 1880 I assume he is buried somewhere in the Mt. Holly area but I have not found him or any other family member. I would like to find burial places for the family, living quarters and possibly a work place for Thomas Sr. But then again.....anything new is wonderful news.
