When these stories pop up from time to time, it really tugs at my heart. I've seen many, many piles of photos at junk and antique stores and so wished I could buy them all and find their owners. I found an old year book once, from a school here in WA, that I was able to purchase. After running a notice of it on the appropriate WA county mail list, with no response, I turned it over to a research library here. Don't guess they're interested in taking on photos, but most Historical or Genealogical Societies will. At least then one knows they're not just "lost" forever!!
