    1. [NJ] FIND ME IN NEW JERSEY #2
    2. Howdy - I thought we'd do it one more time, and if you like, will continue as long as am able. Lots of testators never bothered to include locations of land they owned, or nearby references, and so lots of wills cannot be included in this project. As well, locations in a county which separated into another county can often disguise the original place, but learning about that aspect simply adds to the history of the formation of counties, townships, etc. Again, try to figure in which county this next group of places might be found, and, as answers come in I'll send the source material. Let's make this a weekend project and then next week I'll give out the answers for the whole batch. [[DISCLAIMER - Every effort was made to try to isolate place names specific to a single county, but sometimes they can appear in others; cannot be avoided.]]dwt Game #2: 11. ARNEYTOWN 12. SWAN BAY 13. RACKOM ISLAND 14. ASH SWAMP & GREEN CREEK 15. NAMENONCK 16. HACKSTOWN & DRAKESTOWN 17. CRANE TOWN 18. INDIAN FIELDS 19. COULTER'S GAP 20. JONES ISLAND ---------------------------------------------------------------- This message was sent using IMP, the Internet Messaging Program.

    3. Green Creek is in Cape May County. It may be part of Middle Township. I think Jones Island is in Cumberland County. 3. From "History of The Oranges in Essex County, NJ" Camptown was the original name of Irvington where the Camp family lived. Tory Corner is part of West Orange including Main Street and Washington Street. Doddtown is on the border of East Orange and Orange. ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, May 18, 2007 10:41 AM Subject: [NJ] FIND ME IN NEW JERSEY #2 > Howdy - I thought we'd do it one more time, and if you like, will > continue as long as am able.
