    3. This may not be conntected at all but... I had a friend from college (in the 1970s) and her last name was "Visscher". She had been born and raised in Peru but the story as I remember it was that her Dad left Holland at the start of WWII. What do you think??? Probably not related to a Visser in the US in the 1920s but maybe related somehow?

    3. Hi Linda, Thank you for your reaction. I think however there is not any chance that someone named "Visscher" can be a descendant of someone called Vissers. Visscher is a rather common last name in Holland. Vissers is more unknown. I am about sure that "my" Paul Vissers had Dutch roots, just like his wife. But.. thanks again for the suggestion.
