Dolores & all, This really isn't a book. In the Allen County Public Library (largest genie collection EAST of the Mississippi) e-zine, a review written by ACPL Librarian John D. Beatty was published (in early 2006?) highlighting this collection. The NJ State Archives has a detailed catalog page on this manuscript collection, which includes a description of what is on each microfilm roll: http://www.njarchives.org/links/guides/sle00003.html Also, the record series is available on microfilm through a local LDS Family History Center as well. Here are the details from FamilySearch's catalog: Damages in New Jersey by the British and Americans, 1776-1782 Notes: Microfilm of original records. Includes index. Contains an inventory of damages done and goods taken by the British and American Armies during the Revolutionary War, for the following counties: Bergen, Burlington, Essex, Hudson, Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, Monmouth, Morris, Passaic, Somerset. Format: Manuscript (On Film) Language: English Publication: Trenton, New Jersey : Microfilm and Record Unit, 1964 Film Notes: Note - Location [Film] Surname index to damages - FHL US/CAN Film [ 888698 ] Damages - FHL US/CAN Film [ 888699 ] Damages - FHL US/CAN Film [ 888700 ] [email protected] wrote: > Did anyone respond to this?
