I have finally plunged in and posting some of my family genealogy on the Web. I look forward to sharing information with any one I can. Surnames include MAY (MAI), THOMPSON, MATTINGLY, CISSELL, PHELPS, GILLEY. Others are KRUTSINGER, BAUER, RETTIG, HORSCHLER, KOHLER, ADELHART, DIETER (DIETHER), WERNER. The May line settle in Ohio and Illinois, but is originally from Hesse Darmstadt. The Thompson, Mattingly, Cissell line ended up in IL from KY and is presumed to be part of the Maryland Palatinate.
