"Mrs. Delbartes was a retired seamstress for Martha Manning Dress Factory. She was a member of Good Shepard Lutheran Church. "She was preceded in death by her husband, John Delbartes, whom she married July 10, 1936, and who died in February 1985; her parents, Oliver and Gertrude nee Wooley, Nix; her son-in-law, Michael Dehler who died Aug. 20, 1977; three brothers, Oliver, Don and Carl Nix; and five sisters. "Surviving are her daughter, Joan (Donald) Spencer of Troy, Ill.; a sister, Shirley (Lester) Gebhart of Edwardsville, Ill.; and a grandchild. "Private services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 2, 1998, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Collinsville, Ill., with the Rev. Michael Walther officiating.
