Times-Daily Florence, Alabama April 25, 1998 ROBERTSON,Virginia Mrs. Virginia Dare Nix Robertson, 79, 11470 Highway 64, lexington, died Thursday,April 23, 1998 at Florence Comprehensive Care Center, Florence, after an extended illness. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. today at Loretto Memorial Chapel, Loretto,TN. The funeral will be at 3 p.m. today at the funeral home with burial in Pettus Cemetery. Officiating at the funeral will be Ronnie Ray. She was a native of Lauderdale County. She was a retired postal worker, and a member of Lexington Church of Christ. She is survived by her sons, Hoyt Robertson,Midway,GA , Harold Robertson, Lexington, W.C. Robertson, Florence ; daughter, Judy Thigpen,Lexington ; brother, George Nix, Florence ; sister, Betty Musselman, Florence ; nine grandchildren ; seven great-grandchildren ; several neices and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lenis Verbon Robertson, and parents, Raleigh H. and Verda Lou Green Nix.
