Looking for NIX in Pickens Co and Anderson Co, SC Larkin was a popular name so it is hard to find the right one. What I suspect is that Larkin (b ca 1821) was either brother or son of William Darb Nix Sr. of Pickens Co. (I am also research William D Nix Sr Family--- William Sr. was son of Valentine Nix.) Larkin married Elizabeth. Children were William, Mary Ann, Matlida/Molilou?, Jasper L. (b ca 1852), Susan, James Lenard (b ca 1856)., Andrew Thompson, Sarah Elizabeth. Jasper married Beedie DACUS (b ca 1851-52) , daughter was Maggie Nix, married John Elford STEPHENS,(son of William (b 1855)and Nancy Adaline EVATT (b 1861)).
