Anniston Star, page 4D, Sunday, January 11, 1998 Nix RAGLAND Services for Fred R. Nix, 90, will be at 2 p.m. today at Chapel Hill Funeral Chapel of Pell City, with Rev. Ives Harris Sr. officiating. Burial will follow at Broken Arrow Cemetery in Ragland. Mr. died Friday at St. Clair Regional Hospital in Pell City. Survivors include his wife, Ruby Nix of Ragland; two sons, Jimmy Nix and Jerry Nix, both of Ragland; one grandson, Wayne Nix; and one great-granddaughter. Pallbearers will be Tommy Manning, Frank Manning, Billy Manning, Chris Davenport, James Campbell and Woodrow Campbell. Mr. Nix was a native and lifelong resident of St. Clair County. He was retired from Avondale Mills and a member of Broken Arrow Baptist Church.
