Looking for any information on a Thomas Nix (b. 1826 in GA of parents from SC); married Martha Pool (b. 1842 in GA of parents from SC). Had 8 children, all born in GA but the last 2: Nancy F (Nina) b. 1871, Sophronia b. 1872, Thomas b. 1874, James and John b. 1876, Julia b. 1879, Robert b. 1880 and Joseph b. 1886. The family moved to Mena, Arkansas, sometime after around 1880 (they appear in the 1880 census)...and remain in the area until the 1920 census. Does this sound familiar to anyone? Even with the help of Wanda Gregory...a Nix line expert....I've not been able to connect them to Georgia or South Carolina. Thanks...Margaret Nixon
