Hartford Courant (CT) February 7, 1997 NIX. Margaret S. (Crockett) Nix died Friday (Feb. 7, 1997) at home in Silver Springs, Fla. She was born and raised in Bangor, Maine. She was a retired vendor and a member of Anthony United Methodist Church in Florida. She previously resided in Ellington and Big Pine Key, Fla. She is survived by two daughters, Lorraine Balmer of Ocala, Fla., and Sharon Chapman of Windsor Locks; a brother and six sisters, all of Maine; two grandsons, Ryan and Jeremy, many friends and relatives. She was predeceased by her husband, Gilbert W. Nix. Memorial Services will be today, 6 p.m. at Anthony United Methodist Church, Anthony, Fla. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Marian County, P.O. Box 4860, Ocala, FL 34476.
