Odessa American - Odessa TX December 26, 1997 MIDLAND _ Carl L. Nix, 90, of Midland, a retired electrician, died Tuesday, Dec. 23, 1997, at his home. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Dellwood Baptist Church in Midland with the Rev. Bill Strickland officiating. Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Park. Funeral arrangements by Ellis Funeral Home. He was born in Erath County and had been a resident of Midland since the early 1950s. He was a member and deacon of the Dellwood Baptist Church, and member of International Brotherhood Electrical Workers. SURVIVORS: Son, Carl Douglas ``Buck'' Nix and his wife, Mary, of Van Horn; daughter, Peggy Miller and her husband, Coy, of Brownwood; brother, G.M. Nix and his wife, Mary E., of Brownwood; 15 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
