Andrew Jackson GREEN md:Irena looing for any and all info on them >> Hi, I have some info for you, and hope it helps. Richard Green, born about 1740, who married Eleanor Sullivan, was the son of Jeremiah Green born about 1710 in Hunterdon, New Jersey, who married Joanna :Hannah" Hunt born about 1719. Jeremiah Green was the son of William Green born about 1671 in England. He came to America about 1690, landing in Philledalphia, but did not like Ameirca and went to New York to catch a ship back to England, but met Joanna Reeder, and they married in 1692 and built the first brick house in the Trenton, NJ area. The old home still stands on the campus of Trenton College. The Amos Green you mention was born about 1778 in Rowan County, North Carolina and married Elizabeth Searcy about 1796. She died October 13, 1854 and Amos died January 6, 1857 both in Cherokee County, Georgia. Amos was the son of Richard and Eleanor Sullivan Green mentioned above. Amos and Elizabeth Searcy Green had a son named Andrew Jackson Green born about 1818, but I show he married Orena Kyle. Hope this helps, Tom Green TBGreen3@aol.com
