Allen Kendrick Nix..he is listed in the 1860 Census Henderson County, TN, as owning a home...living alone..he was 19 years old at that time...I have a Confederate Pension Record on him form Texas where he moved after the War. Lived around Red River, Texas...I am pretty sure he was realted to me...trying to find more to prove it...I could not find anyone else with the Nix name in the 1860 Census above..he must have moved there from somewhere else, or they had all left this world. He fought with General Nathan Bedford Forrest...19th Tennessee Cavalry, Company "F'...had to be quite a fella. regards, Allen C.
