Just a word of advice...I have learned many people after the great War (1861-1865)...especially Southerners moved to other States that paid Confederate pensions....most lost everything they had and I think with so many bad memories and sadness...just picked up and moved on....Texas and Tennessee were the first two States to pay Confederate pensions...I am positive that is what brought my ALLEN KENDRICK NIX to Texas and many others ...FORRESTER ---------- > From: Larry W.
