Hi Wanda & all, thanks for the welcome. Per your request, Nix is my maternal grandmother's maiden name. Her gfather was James P. Nix, b. 1848, d. March, 1912; lived Early/Miller Co., GA; buried Flatcreek Baptist Ch. Cem., Miller Co., GA. No nothing more about his parents, etc. nor do we know his wife's name.
